Traditional bed bug detection methods can be very time consuming and not very accurate. Certified Bed Bug Dogs generate quicker and more accurate results while alerting it’s handler in a totally “green” manner. For example, the bed bug canine can search the average hotel room more efficiently and with better accuracy then any experienced technician.

The more preparation that is completed, the more effective the treatment will be. Little to no preparation will result in poor control results. The effectiveness of the treatment will be apparent in the first few days, with longer term control taking several weeks or more (depending on pre-treatment preparations made and the level of the infestation.)

In order to gain quick and effective control of rodents and other pests, we recommend the implementation of an exclusion treatment, which is the sealing of rodent passageways and entry points. All accessible rodent holes/penetrations will be treated with the appropriate rodenticide/pesticide, and subsequently sealed with copper mesh and a minimal amount of expanding foam.

In a commercial application, penetrations will be sealed in all areas where rodents are entering a building, as well as all holes within the building that allow rodents to move throughout the premises. Areas to be sealed will include, but not be limited to conduit lines, plumbing lines, cable lines, etc.

Accessible holes will be sealed using expandable foam, copper mesh, and Galvanized Hardware Cloth.

Compactor chutes are one area that is often neglected when it comes to routine building maintenance. However, dirty compactor and trash chutes are often the source of foul odors, vermin and other potential hazards in a building. The caked on grease garbage and sludge found in trash chute lines provide both food and harborage for roaches flies and rodents. In addition this greasy organic buildup poses a potential fire hazard. Odors emanating from improperly maintained trash and compactor chutes are the cause of numerous health problems in humans. In addition these odors have a serious impact on quality of life issues.

We are confident that by applying our sanitizing process we can provide a cleaner environment for your resident and have a serious impact on your pest control.

We propose to offer the following:

  1. Compactor chutes and machines will be power washed with hot water and biodegradable degreasing agents administered via rotating heads.
  2. Complete application of bacteria hungry enzymes to all chutes and hopper doors following cleaning.
  3. Manual detailing of all hopper doors and compactor units as well as surrounding areas.

Bird ControlBird Control
As a public health pest, birds can harbor disease organisms, which may affect people, pets, and domesticated animals. Birds frequently deposit their manure indiscriminately on sidewalks, people, buildings, park benches, statues, and cars and around air handling units. The droppings are not only objectionable to the eye and nose, but can permanently stain and/or cause premature rusting and corrosion of some metal structures and objects. Large amounts of droppings can severely damage and/or kill valuable trees and other vegetation.

More than 60 transmittable diseases (some of which are fatal) are associated with pigeons, starlings, and house sparrows.

For example:

Histoplasmosis is a respiratory disease that may be fatal. It results from a fungus growing in dried bird droppings.

Cryptococcosis is caused by yeast found in the intestinal tract of pigeons and starlings. The illness often begins as a pulmonary disease and may later affect the central nervous system. Since attics, cupolas, ledges, schools, offices, warehouses, mills, barns, park buildings, signs, etc. are typical roosting and nesting sites, the fungus is apt to be found in these areas.

St. Louis Encephalitis, an inflammation of the nervous system, usually causes drowsiness, headache and fever. It may even result in paralysis, coma or death. St. Louis encephalitis occurs in all age groups but is especially fatal to persons over age 60. The disease is spread by mosquitoes, which have fed on infected house sparrow, pigeons and house finches carrying the Group B virus responsible for St. Louis encephalitis.

Salmonellosis often occurs as food poising and can be traced to pigeons, starlings and sparrows. The disease bacteria are found in bird droppings; dust from droppings can be sucked through ventilators and air conditioners, contaminating food and cooking surfaces in restaurants, homes and food processing plants.
